Someone(I do not know)followed me to my house last night and ask me to race his truck. I said no problems. He was nice to let me see the engine. His truck has a 350 race block, race heads, B&M blower w/cog set up and a big shot system (300-400hp)for dual holley carburetors. To be honest, I had second thoughts about the race sine My NOS bottle is empty. Frist race from second gear, he did not use his NOS and my boost set at 19psi. I passed him like he was standing still. Second race he opened the bottle and again from second gear we stared from 25mph. He jumped on me about 1/4 car lenght. He did not gain any further through 2nd gear. but when I put the gear into 3rd, I started pulling on him fast. I think I gained on him about 4 car lenghts. 4th gear, I gained even more. I did not use my NOS and my high boost setting(25psi) for both races. Those 18g turbos are the best I have had so far. I was amazed with how fast the turbos are spooling up when I first drove the car after it came from SGP. When you race you are not going to start the race from 4th gear and the RPM is at 2k like what happens on the Dyno. Special thanks to Kyle and SGP for building my car.
